At the moment I live in Southern
California. My husband is in the military and my three daughters keep me super
busy! I home school my three daughters and in between cleaning, being a wife, a
mommy, and a teacher I find a few minutes in between to work on “The Damned
Series.”
How did you decided to enter the world of writing?
I have always been a writer but didn’t
start writing professionally until I took a book I had started writing when I
had 5 surgeries and was stuck in bed or a wheel chair for 6 months. This is
when the series began. And I haven’t been able to go a day without writing ever
since. ;)
What does your family think of your writing?
Where do you get your ideas?
Well “The Damned Series” was born from a
completely different book I was writing, I took a post- apocalyptic world and
turned it even more on its head. With this world I changed everything into the
series. I might finish the
post-apocalyptic book one day. But I want to finish this series before I get
anything else out. ;)
Can
you tell us a little about your book?
What
is your writing process?
I
don’t really have a process. I just sit down and write. I have to have my cup
of coffee, music and nothing else really. J
I don’t outline anything, I sort do I guess, an open ended outline. I know what
I have to accomplish in every book but they are just guidelines and loose ones
at that. ;)
What
was the hardest part for you when working on your book?
Writing the love scenes, it’s very primal and I need
my mind and concentration when I am “showing” you the act of them making love. J
What
influenced or inspired you to write?
I started as a teenager writing short stories and
poetry, as a fourteen year old I had three of my poems published and really
have only written for fun since.
Was
there a scene that you didn’t add or you removed in your finished work?
No what I wrote is what I kept.
Other than a few edits here or there nothing has been changed really.
Do you have a favorite character (from you're book)? Why?
Lea and Alexander have captured me. You
can’t have one without the other. I love how Lea fights with herself over (no
spoilers) her inner turmoil’s and how Alexander is her rock even when she
doesn’t seem to need one. She may seem crass and rude at times but she is just
getting used to the fact that she’s a monster! J
Do
you already know what to write next? Can you tell us?
Book Three Wingless and Shattered is almost done!
And it’s huge! But I will have it done with Edits by the end of April and in
y’alls hands probably end of April early May. J
Where

I have a very interactive relationship with my fans.
In fact some of the people that have contacted me after reading my book/books
have and are considered VERY good friends who I have stayed in contact with on
a Daily Basis! ;)
